NBA Playoffs Predictions

The NBA playoffs have been amazing this year. The New Orleans Pelicans are sweeping the Blazers, the Bucks took the Celtics to 7 games, and the 76ers were humbled by being gentleman swept by the Celtics. The Conference Finals average around 19 million views per game with the ratings lowering every year by 3% since 2014. This years Conference Finals will include: Western Conference - 1. Houston Rockets vs 2. Golden State Warriors &

Eastern Conference - 2. Boston Celtics vs. 4. Cleveland Cavaliers.

What to watch for: The Rockets vs. Warriors series will feature the two offensive powerhouses going against each other. The Warriors average a league best 113 points per game with the Rockets a point behind with 112 ppg. That being said, watch for how the two teams will play with their defensive matchups. What will stop James Harden? How do you guard Kevin Durant? How will these two teams defend the others three ball? These things are game changers for this series and could determine who will punch their ticket to the Finals.

Who to watch for: LeBron James is still setting records in his 15th NBA season, which is insane. LeBron holds the record for most playoff points, with over 6500 points career points in the playoffs. He takes on the 2 seeded Celtics, hoping to advance to his 8th straight finals appearance. Another person to watch is Chris Paul, he recently just switched to the Rockets in hope to resurge his career. This was a huge success as he has made it the Conference Finals for the first time in his career. He looks to stop Steph Curry and to help facilitate this powerhouse offense that the rockets have put together.

Predictions: These two matchups are very different. The Cavaliers have had a difficult path getting to this Conference finals, with the Celtics having an even harder time. Both teams have gone 7 games in the first round and sweeping their second round opponent. In the end, I will never doubt LeBron and his ability to lead a team. I have the Cavaliers in 5 games.

Now onto the Western Conference Finals where the Rockets play the Warriors. This series will be close. Both teams have amazing offenses so it will come down to who can stop the other team from scoring. I have the Warriors in 7 games. This will be a very close series and I have no

doubt that it will go 7 games.
