Girls Golf

On Thursday, September 29, 2016, The Girls Golf Varsity played at Ives Grove Golf Links for their regional match. The Case Eagles took second in the meet with a 375 which is the second best score for 18 holes this year.

“I’m proud of the way the girls battled the conditions and the pressure of regionals, that it did not get to them. It was a bit of a rough start but everyone bounced back and made a strong finish.” said Coach Berry.

All teams on Thursday had a tough time battling the weather, the wind was near 20 mph for the duration of the meet. Also congratulations to Nina Kortendick, who beat her career best by seven shots with an 88 during the windy meet.

Coach Berry also said,“Bryn Glennon played consistent, Nina Kortendick played fantastic, and Lauren Chiappetta started off rocky but had a great finish”.

After Nina finished she was beaming with joy from playing so well. Lauren Chiappetta also shot two career bests, one for nine holes with a 45 and the other for 18 holes with a 98.
