This movie begins with a young bunny (Judy) in a play at a talent show. She is doing this play with her friends and it is about predators and prey getting along. At the end of the play Judy says âAnyone can be Anythingâ and she also would like to grow up to be a police officer, in Zootopia. No one believes that Judy will accomplish her dreams, because she is âjust a bunnyâ. Judyâs parents would like her to be a carrot farmer because it is a much safer job for her. After the play Judy had seen two bullies messing with a couple of her friends, trying to take her friendâs tickets. Judy tries to stop the bullies from taking their tickets. One of the bullies is a fox named Gideon Grey says rude things to Judy and the next thing Gideon scratches Judy in the face.
After some time Judy is older and now she is training at the police academy. She starts off having quite a rough time, with everyone telling her to quit. When people put her down and tell her to quit, it just makes her want to work harder. Judy begins to work harder and harder learning new techniques to help her achieve her goal. All of her hard work pays off and she graduated the Zootopia Police Academy. She wasnât just the first rabbit officer, but also the valedictorian of her class.
Now Judy is off to Zootopia, and her parents are the most worried about her along with her safety. As she is on the train to Zootopia she listens to music and experiences places she has never seen before. This is all new for her. Once she makes it to Zootopia she is so excited and happy. Then goes to her new home and can't wait for her first day on the job as an official police officer.
First day on the job is not what she expected, she doesn't really fit in. The first job she is assigned to is a Meter Maid and she is not happy with that. Her job is to write one hundred tickets a day. Instead she writes two hundred tickets by noon, and notices a fox that looks sneaky. Judy follows him into a elephant ice cream shop to see what is happening. This fox (Nick) simply wants to buy his son a jumbo pop for his birthday. The son receives his jumbo pop from Judy, because his father had forgotten his wallet.
Later that day Judy see the fox and his son melting the jumbo pop, putting the liquid from it into jars. Then follows them, just to find out they were freezing it making it into multiple popsicles. After making them he sells them and then gets all of the sticks back and sells them as well. Judy confronts Nick and gives her a hard time and calls her a âdumb bunnyâ. That made Judy angry. To get back at Nick, Judy has a carrot recording pen and she tricks him into saying something that could get him in trouble. So, Officer Judy Hopps has Nick help with a missing otter case.
After this Judy offers to find Mrs. Ottertonâs husband who has been missing for almost ten days. Judy almost gets fired for doing this until Mrs. Otterton tells Chief Bogo and can not back out at this point. Judy is given forty-eight hours to find this Mr. Otterton and if she does not find Emmett Otterton, she will be fired. Go watch and find out if Judy can find Emmett Otterton.
