Student of the Week: LeAnn Allen

What do you like to do in your free time?

I would have to say my favorite thing to do is going fishing.

What classes do you like/hate? Why?

I like Biomedical Science and English. But the one class I hate most is my math class because it can be very challenging and hard to understand.

Describe your favorite teacher.

To be honest, I don’t really have a favorite teacher, so I’m not really sure.

If school could be about one thing, what would you want it to be?

I wish school would be about teaching kids how to work in the real world. For example, like how to fill out a checkbook, or how to get a job, etc.

If you had a choice to come to school or not, would you come? Why?

This one is hard. Even though I want to stay home and sleep in, I still need the education for the job that I want in the future.

What sports or activities have you participated in the past?

I have participated in softball, track, and cross country.

What are your greatest talents?

I guess being hilarious, at least that's what everyone tells me.

Do you like group or individual work? Why?

It depends on what kind of work. If it's a big project, say we have to do a powerpoint, or a big poster. Then yeah, I would love to have a partner, but if we are doing a little worksheet, I would rather do it on my own because I'm the one who usually does all the work.

How do you organize your backpack or locker?

Ha, Ha, this one is funny. I don’t!

Do you get good grades? Do you think you could do better?

Yes I get good grades and yes, I think I could do better.
