Student of the Week: Bella Nelson

What do you like to do in your free time?

“I like horseback riding and shooting both my gun and bow.”

What classes do you like/hate? Why?

“I really like bio-med because of all the labs and dissections. Then the one class I dislike is Trig because some of those problems are so complicated, and it makes me stress sometimes.”

Describe your favorite teacher.

“To be completely honest, I don’t have a favorite teacher.”

If school could be about one thing, what would you want it to be?

“I would want it to be about how to do everyday things, not everything else that we learn that has no meaning to our future.”

If you had a choice to come to school or not, would you come? Why?

“No, because this school doesn’t teach anything that I need later in life.”

What sports or activities have you participated in the past?

“I have participated in cheer and next year I want to join swimming.”

What are your greatest talents?

“Horseback riding and shooting.”

Do you like group or individual work? Why?

“Individual, because I don’t have to deal with other people not doing their work and affecting my grade.”

How do you organize your backpack or locker?

“I don’t.”

Do you get good grades? Do you think you could do better?

“My grades are okay, and yes I could do better.”
