Student of the Week: Nicole Holub

What do you like to do in your free time?

“I like to play with my dog, eat, and hang out with my friends.”

What classes do you like/hate? Why?

“I like German and Theatre because they make me want to learn. The only class that I really hate is Geometry. I never seem to grasp to learn anything.”

Describe your favorite teacher.

“Nancy Gibson would be my favorite teacher. She is nice and mean at times when she needs to be, but is also funny. Nancy wants us to succeed in life and I just love her as a teacher.”

If school could be about one thing, what would you want it to be?

“Theatre, because that’s my passion. I love theatre, especially since I want to be an actress when I get older.”

If you had a choice to come to school or not, would you come? Why?

“Yes, because I want to see my friends and hang out with them. Since my friends are mostly in every class I have.”

What sports or activities have your participated in the past?

“I have played basketball.”

What are your greatest talents?

“I can sing and also very good at picking up on things, except Geometry.”

Do you like group or individual work? Why?

“Both, I don’t like speaking out loud and in individual work, I focus more.”

How do you organize your backpack or locker?

“I don’t organize my backpack, and I don’t use my locker.”

Do you get good grades? Do you think you could do better?

“Yes, I have A’s and B’s and one C, which is from Geometry. I could definitely do better, I just have to try a lot harder in math.“
