CHS Track & Field!!

Quick and dedicated are just a few of the words that come to mind when you hear the name Ahmad. Case Newspaper selected Ahmad Smith for athlete of the month. It’s no question that Ahmad is deserving of this title. I asked him a few questions about his academics and track life.

Here's how our interview went:

1. What grade are you in?

“I'm a senior.”

2. What events do you participate with on track?

“I participate in 100, 200, 400 long jump.”

3. Who is your coach?

“I have two coaches Gallagher and Karlheim”

4. What motivates you?

“I’d have to say my teammates and myself. I always try to improve from my last meet.”

5. What do you do before and after each track meet?

“Before, I like to listen to music, and after I like to relax and hang out with my teammates.”

6. What college do you think you're going too?

“Mankato state university in Minnesota.”

7. How long have you been on the track team?

“I've been doing track for 4 years.”

Ahmad, like many other Case runners are talented, determined and hardworking. We hope nothing but the best from him, as he embarks on the rest of the track season.
