Athlete of the Week: Jade Romanski

Softball is just one of the many sports that are full of talents students. They constantly are hitting it out of the park with all of their accomplishments. One player that definitely has her eye on the ball, Is Jade Romanskie.

There’s no question as to why she was selected to be Case Newspaper Athlete of the week. We asked her a couple questions to get to know her better, this is how it went;

What grade are you in?

“I am a sophomore.”

What position are you?

“I'm a varsity pitcher.”

How long have you been playing?

“I’ve been playing for most of my life.”

Who is your coach?

“Coach Katzer”

What’s your favorite thing about softball?

“My favorite thing would probably be meeting new people, the teammates and just the sport in general.”

What do you do before each game?

“As a team we do warm ups, get extra practice in and listen to music.”

Who motivates you?

“I would say my dad, my grandparents, and my friends dad who has been my coach for a while.”

Do you plan on going to college? Will you continue to play softball?

“Yes, hopefully that's the plan. I’m hoping that I can get into either Madison or Florida State.”
