Student of the Week: Ashley Bogardt!!!

What do you like to do in your free time?

¨I like to hang out with my friends, watch netflix, and go shopping.¨

What classes do you like/hate? Why?

¨I like PBS- it’s so cool to learn about the human body, as it starts out as a crime scene. I also like ceramics because it’s stress relieving and fun. I actually don’t hate any classes, those are just my favorite ones.”

Describe your favorite teacher.

“Miss Gauthier is fun, spunky and is always excited to teach us. That shows she’s passionate about what she does. Always willing to help students out too.”

If school could be about one thing, what would you want it to be?

“To prepare me for how to live life when I get older. Like how to buy a car, house, how to do taxes, checkbooks. Stuff like that.”

If you had a choice to come to school or not would you come? Why?

Q “I would come. School is fun and I’ve met so many people through it. I’ve learned a lot through school and that is essential to life, but also in the classes and about the person I am.”

What sports or activities have you participated in the past?

“When I was young I did gymnastics. In 5th grade, I started playing volleyball. I also participated in tennis in middle school. The summer after 8th grade I had surgery on my shoulder from playing volleyball so then I started running track my sophomore year and then cross country the following fall.”

What are your greatest talents“I am a great leader. I have some artistic talents of painting and ceramics. I’m also very organized. I work well on computers with graphics too.”

Do you like group or individual work? Why?

“I like individual work. I don’t really like to rely on others to get work done. I like to work by myself, so I can work at my own pace and to get work done how I want it to be done.”

How do you organize your backpack or locker?

“I don’t use my locker anymore, I just use my backpack. I color code my notebook and folders for each class and then put them in the order in my backpack of the classes that I have that day. I switch out A day stuff and B day stuff.”

Do you get good grades? Do you think you could do better?

“I get good grades! I have a GPA of 4.275 and work hard everyday to maintain that. I feel I could try a little bit harder though with studying for test and things.”
