2018 NFL Mock Draft Top 7 Picks

The 2018 NFL Draft is a little over a month away and while the Combine has just finished, the process is still far from over. Let’s take a look at the top 10 picks and who I believe those 10 teams will draft.

1. Browns - This is the fourth time the Browns have drafted the number 1 pick. With this pick the Browns can do a couple different things: take a franchise QB, take the best player in the draft, or trade the pick. In my opinion, I see the Browns taking the best player in the draft; Saquon Barkley. They are planning for the future with the biggest playmaker that we have seen in recent years.

2. Giants - With the second pick I see the Giants being a little mad that Saquon Barkley is off the board, but they are looking for a QB for the future. With that being said, they could trade Eli Manning in the process, which would be a huge move. With this pick, I think the Giants take Sam Darnold. This is the best QB in the draft and will develop around a great system with great weapons on offense.

3. Colts - The Colts already have the QB that they want with Andrew Luck. That being said, defense is a big issue with the Colts. With this pick, the Colts will take a pass rusher in Bradley Chubb. Chubb will be plugged in right away and make an impressive impact.

4. Browns - This is going to be the first time that the any team will have two picks in the top 5 of any NFL Draft. This is a big pick too. The Browns can pick a star DB in Minkah Fitzpatrick or could draft a potential QB in Josh Rosen or Baker Mayfield. I do think the Browns will keep this pick and draft Minkah Fitzpatrick if they decide that they can’t trade it to any other team for a better value.

5. Broncos - Now this is a

weird pick. The Broncos are in a weird place where they have the pieces to be a good team but can’t keep it together. Now with this pick, I believe the Broncos will take a chance at Josh Allen, the big arm QB out of Wyoming, who had a huge combine day. If the Broncos don’t feel good about the pick, then I could see John Elway trade this pick for a proven player and sign some key free agents.

1. Jets - The Jets need a young QB that can lead the team. The only two left are either Josh Rosen or Baker Mayfield. I see the Jets taking Josh Rosen with this pick and letting him run the team.

2. Buccaneers - The Buccaneers need a defensive superstar with this pick. They have their QB and have their WR core. So all they need is an edge pass rusher, and the perfect pick is Marcus Davenport. Davenport is a freakish athlete with huge potential.

These 7 picks could feature some of the best athletes that the NFL will ever see. This NFL Draft is stacked with star QB’s, huge playmakers, and impactful defensive players. This draft will have the next generation of superstars.
