NCAA March Madness Tips and Predictions

It’s that time of year again. March Madness is like the playoffs of College Basketball. It’s a tourney of 64 of the best college Teams play against each other until the team that doesn’t lose a game wins it all. This is a huge deal and one of sports best time of the year. Having a perfect bracket would mean that you picked all of the tournament correctly. No one has ever picked a perfect bracket ever in over 27 years of the tournament. So no one is expecting to pick a perfect bracket. That being said, here’s how to pick your bracket.

Don’t be afraid to pick upsets.

Every year there are upsets whether it’s a 2 seed losing to a 15 seed or a 7 seed making it to the final four. Upsets happen. That being said don’t pick any team that’s not ranked top 8 to go to the final four as there has never been a team to reach the final four that was ranked a 9 or higher.

Pick a team you want to win and stick with it.

If you want a top 3 seed to win then start off by picking that team first and worry about the rest of the bracket first. Most people get confused and impatient and rush through their bracket but take your time and pick a couple teams that you believe will make it far and stick with them.

When in doubt, top seed it out.

The top seed has won the championship 18 out of 28 years. Which is a 64% chance of a one seed coming out on top again this year. That’s the highest chance that the bracket has to offer and is a safe bet.

Round of 64 tips

Some teams that are seen as underdogs this year have a good chance pull of their upsets in the first round like 11 seed Loyola Chicago college, 12 seed New Mexico St. and 10 seed Oklahoma. These teams could create a splash in the Madness of this tournament.

After everything is picked, no is expecting you to pick a perfect bracket. Or even to pick most teams right. The whole thing about picking a March Madness bracket is that anyone can come out on top. The seeds are there to help you out so use them to your advantage but still pick upsets because they will happen and Good Luck to you all who are hoping to win against your friends or co-workers.
